I discovered Ramadan calendar apps because it has always been a special time for me.
It is a month of reflection, spirituality and connection with Allah, but it also requires daily organization to fulfill fasting, prayers and other important practices.
For years, I relied solely on written ideas or local information to figure out the exact times of Suhur and Ifar.
But, with my busy routine, I often forgot to check and ended up having to look for it at the last minute.
Then a friend told me about Ramadan calendar apps.
I have used common calendar apps before, but I never thought there were specific apps to help us during this sacred time.
So I decided to give it a try and to my surprise, they made my Ramadan crush much more organized and quiet.
Today, I want to share two uses that have really made a difference in my routine.
Muslim Pro: the complete Ramadan calendar that I used
The first app I tried was Muslim Pro, who already knows a lot about his functions in prayer.
But what surprised me was that he had an amazing Ramadan calendar.
Not only does the time of fasting appear, but it also brings prayer of thoughts, Quran and even suggestions of daily du'as.
The interface of the app is very easy. As soon as I downloaded it, it automatically saw my location and changed the Shur and Iftar timings according to my city.
Before, I always had to manually search for this time on websites or ask for information at mosques. Now everything is just a click away.
My experience:
One of the things that helped me the most was the notification for iftar.
Before, I had to keep checking all the time, afraid of missing the right moment for fasting.
With this app, I receive a notification on my cell phone a few minutes in advance, which allows me to prepare a lot.
Additionally, the app has a special section for those who want to follow the reading of the Quran during Ramadan, suggesting daily passages to complete the recitation in the holy month.
Another detail that I found incredible was the Ramadan day counter.
It seems simple, but visually tracking the month's progress gave me even more motivation to continue with my fasting and spirituality.
Athan – organization and personalized memories
After a few weeks of using Pro Muslim, I wanted to look for a second option that would help me organize my Ramadan routine even more.
And I discovered Athan, an application that in addition to being an Islamic agenda, you can create personalized reminders for each prayer, fasting and even for donations and charity.
Unlike Muslim Pro, Athan allows you to configure notifications in a very detailed way.
For example, I programmed the app to remind me to drink plenty of water before suhur and to make a special du'a before iftar.
These small changes made a big difference in my daily preparations.
My experience:
What I liked most about Athan was being able to follow my spiritual habit.
During Ramadan, I always tried to maintain a higher rhythm of prayers, reading the Quran and good deeds, but I couldn't always remember everything.
The app has a bookmark where I can mark the days when I managed to do my readings. This has helped me stay disciplined and improve my connection with Allah.
Additionally, Athan has a detailed calendar of not only Ramadan, but also Islamic holidays and important events such as Laylatul Qadr.
Therefore, I can prepare in advance for special times within the holy month.
How these apps changed my Ramadan.
Before using Islamic calendar apps, I thought I could organize everything myself, just with alarms on my phone and manual notes.
But the truth is that technology can be a great ally in the practice of faith.
With Muslim Pro and Athan, I now have more peace of mind to fulfill my spiritual commitments without having to worry about forgetting something.
I know exactly what time I need to start and end my fast, I follow my Quran reading and even with its personalized memories to maintain my prayers and good deeds.
So if you also want a more organized Ramadan focus on spirituality, I recommend trying these apps.
They really made a difference!
May Allah receive our fasting and prayers in this holy month.
Now tell me: do you already use a Ramadan calendar app? How has it helped you in your routine?
